Community Guidelines
Welcome to In Your Circle™! We are thrilled to have you as part of our community, where connection, integrity, and support come first. To ensure a positive and respectful environment for everyone, please follow these community guidelines.
1. Personal Connections & Referrals
- Only Former Employers Can Refer Caregivers: To maintain transparency and trust, only former employers can refer caregivers on our platform. Family members, friends, or relatives do not count as a referral. Caregivers must be referred by individuals who have previously employed them in a professional capacity.
- Accurate & Honest Information: When referring a caregiver, ensure all details about their qualifications and experience are truthful and accurate. Providing false information may result in account suspension or removal from the community.
- No Self-Referrals: Members may not refer themselves or immediate family members as caregivers on the platform. As stated in our Terms of Use, In Your Circle™ reserves the right to cancel and remove members at any time if this policy is violated. No refunds will be given.
- Video Call Recommendation: After exchanging messages with a member, we recommend scheduling a quick video call to connect directly with the referring former employer. This helps build trust and ensures a clearer understanding of their experience.
- Employer Role Clarification: By agreeing to our Terms of Service, you clearly acknowledge that In Your Circle™¸ is not a nanny or caregiver agency, but a platform for employers to refer current or former caregivers they have personally employed. Violating these terms will result in immediate account suspension.
2. Privacy & Confidentiality
- No personal information in posts: Please do not include any personal information (about yourself or your caregiver), including phone number and email on your posts. We encourage personal communication between families.
- Respect Privacy: Do not share personal or confidential information about other members without their explicit consent. We value privacy, both online and offline, and expect all members to do the same.
3. Respectful Communication
- Be Kind & Courteous: Treat all members with respect, kindness, and empathy. Engage in conversations in a positive and supportive tone.
- No Hate Speech or Bullying: Discrimination, harassment, and offensive language will not be tolerated. Everyone deserves to feel safe and valued in our community.
- Constructive Feedback: If you disagree with someone’s perspective or experience, please provide constructive feedback. Negative or harmful language is not acceptable.
4. No Solicitation or Spam
- Avoid Commercial Promotion: In Your Circle™¸ is not a platform for direct sales, promotions, or marketing unless it’s part of a specific partnership or approved post.
- No Spam: Repeated posting of the same content or irrelevant links is prohibited. This community is for building genuine, meaningful connections, not for promotional purposes.
5. Account Integrity & Compliance
- Adherence to Terms and Conditions: By being part of In Your Circle™, you agree to abide by our full terms and conditions. Failure to do so may result in account suspension or removal from the community.
- Respect Platform Guidelines: Only engage in activities that align with the mission of In Your Circle™. Fraudulent or unethical behavior will not be tolerated.
6. Engagement & Collaboration
- Foster Positive Connections: Engage with members in a way that promotes collaboration and support. Offer advice, share experiences, and help others as we navigate the caregiver journey together.
- Promote Safety & Well-Being: Your safety and well-being, as well as that of others, are our top priorities. If you see something that doesn’t align with our values or safety standards, report it immediately to the In Your Circle™¸ team.
7. Reporting Violations
- How to Report: If you encounter a member who violates these guidelines, please report the issue directly to our team. We take all violations seriously and will address them promptly. Beside each post, you will see 3 dots. You will see a Report option there to report to Admin.
- Zero Tolerance Policy: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harmful, discriminatory, or unethical behavior. Depending on the severity of the violation, actions may include warnings, account suspension, or permanent removal from the community.
8. Account Suspension & Refund Policy
- Account Suspension: If your account is suspended due to a violation of these guidelines or Terms of Use, you will not be permitted to access the platform.
- No Refunds: Once an account is suspended or banned, In Your Circle™¸ will not issue a refund for any payments made prior to suspension or termination.
